My post today is inspired by Julie Jones, who gave me a positive call out on her stories, thanking me for demonstrating that it’s never too late to reinvent oneself or start over.
I mean let’s face it, if you have been on the planet for awhile, no doubt you have already had many iterations of yourself. And you are probably in one phase of self right now, that might be place you just created or one you are reassessing. Or maybe it’s time to tear it all done and begin again. (Scary, I know – but totally doable!)
A friend of mine works with patients to enhance their health, and she begins conversations with the question: “Who are you?” It may sound unconventional, but it stems from a desire to encourage people to share beyond the problems in their lives and reveal their true selves. Often, responses revolve around what people do rather than who they are, as many of us define ourselves through our roles.
In the midst of our daily lives, we often neglect deeper self-reflection. This week, I posed the question, “What is your purpose for being here?” to a few women. While they provided good in-the-moment answers, it was evident that accessing their true purpose wasn’t always easily accessible. Simply because they hadn’t taken the time to inquire further.
I ask this question because it’s a journey I’m on myself. Understanding my purpose makes it easier to align my choices and decisions. I am not perfect by any means, and I find it’s a never ending journey of self discovery and course correction.
I’m passionate about seeking expansion and exploring the potential of who one can become. Asking these questions opens the door to evaluating if a shift is needed or if there’s a better way to be oneself.
Life has given me numerous opportunities to recreate how I approach it—letting go of what no longer serves me and inviting new explorations. It’s hard. But worth it.
Some women hire me because they see what I’ve overcome and need assurance that change is possible. I’m here to say it is, and you will.
Sometimes, we need proof that the journey is worthwhile and that we possess the ability to change our lives.
My mission is to excel at being myself, being aware of my impact, and accepting that not everyone will understand or like me. I’m also becoming more adept at communication, inviting others to respond to what I offer.
So with that said, I currently have a few openings for 2 clients in the month of March. Typically we work in a three-month container. If you’re ready to reinvent aspects of your life or delve deeper into your unique purpose, talents, and aligned choices, reach out to see what that could look like.
Saying YES to more of yourself is a journey worth taking.
